Introspection

"Where there is righteousness there is victory", says the Bhagwad Gita. Whats tricky, is to know, whether and how you are right. Victory only follows then.

Friends, Truth, Companionship.. its a package. A spice missing from it, makes the entire food stale. Where there is lack of trust, its an unbridgable gap. You can speak, show logic, express feelings none to any help. At some point the feeling of tireness overcomes the feeling of love for the person ;)
"Infinite love can conquer the world, one single soul possessed of this can destroy the dark designs of a million others", says Swami Vivekananda.. I feel - Love..forgive, forget and give up! Time is the best teacher, the best healer, the best judge.. the best test of companionship.

Too many concepts, too many people creates too much noise in any relationship. Sometimes, life wishes for a melancholic solitude, a solitary companionship.. a tryst with romance.
Moving ahead is ones' religion. This time doesnt allow me to sit, and to think. All plannings done, everything explained.. Life is at its fifth gear, my hands stern on the steering. The ride should be enjoyable whatever way I have chosen for myself!

NB: Perhaps this is the best time to thank few friends of mine who had been with me through the thick and the thin, making me believe I have someone to fall back upon, if I go somewhere wrong.
Saumaly, you were my first friend in the school (perhaps in nursery) Thank you.. Aninya, Annesha, Anindya... thank you for being shields, more than mere friends to me... Souvick, Karthik for being a bhai.. My Mom.. who means a lot to me..

  1. Zip zap zoom Anirban - I am sure the path you have chosen suits you the best... In the meantime - I would never be in that car with you - I am really scared of speed. Hence take sometime to slow down periodically and smell the flowers around you, admire the moon and smile - and oh yes - remember to keep breathing through out - LOL

  4. Every body has feelings and realisations regarding the situations which they are facing. But to present those feelings in words is very difficult. But you present them in a better way.
"Love..forgive, forget and give up! Time is the best teacher, the best healer, the best judge.. the best test of companionship".
These lines have created a feel of consolation for myself, and syringed a sense of stability, against the hurt that I faced.

  18. Yep, friends are life. Any day, anytime. The fact that you can sit back n tell them everything down to the last detail is the awesomest part. They also give you the freedom to say, "Submit my assignment tomorrow my ass!" "the teacher can fuck off" when u cant actually do that. ;)

But however fast life is, take it from me, (I hav made miserable fuckups in my life, numerous actually)dnt lose faith. Faith is what will keep you going. No other word will suffice in its place. It covers everything.

  19. "Where there is righteousness there is victory" I believe

I think if my heart is saying what I am doing or about to do is right then I should do it.

"Infinite love can conquer the world, one single soul possessed of this can destroy the dark designs of a million others", says Swami Vivekananda........The Truth

Time is the best teacher, the best healer, the best judge.. the best test of companionship------This is what I believe.

All in all a great post. :D

  20. i admire you very much young one... and it's a pleasure to co-travel with people like you who are capable of reflection...

they say younger people are easier to form because they are flexible... i truly believe so... i have accompanied different people at the different stages of their lives and some enjoy life, with all the difficulties they have to face and emerge as stronger people... some, sad to say, become cynical and calloused... hmmm...

anyhow, the decision is always yours to take ;)...

with this blog, i was able to think of the many people who have also been with me throughout the different seasons of my life... i am very grateful to them too...

thanks for this wonderful post ;)

  29. anirban, must mention hardly know you. I have strong reasons to believe that most ppl who talk big rarely practice them in life.but hoping at the same time that you do truely believe in them, i must agree and disagree to some of the ideas u expressed at this blog. i cant help but accept ur conception abt friendship and companionship and yes time is a grt healer, solitude too brings to a sore heart..but bro just cant bring myself to forgive or forget the agonizing elements or incidents ever..and do be careful, considering ur at fifth gear...if u allow advice wud be to be to contemplate coz that enables one to mak beter decisions in life, promptness cud proove to be disasterous!!

  34. @prateek loved your comment, treasure it like anything, but alas, most of the viewers of this blog may not understand it, I shall translate it to English in my next comment.

@satwati my pleasure.. you have been such an helping hand whenever I required help..God bless you di.

@Manisha... try once forgiving... trust me, its a divine bliss.. In our church, we were taught this... it took long for us to practice it... but its divine, once you are able to do it, you can feel a super natural power in you.

@bitan di, life teaches us with episodes... episode leaves us lessons to learn from, memories to carry with us!

@rimly, my pleasure and trust me, be true.. Do good to others.. no one shall be ever at cross roads (copy pasted from Gita)

@karthik... Oi, am I again "teresa bhai"?? :P ..n bro, not really.... in my fast pace, did I forget you?? Did you forget me?? yes, if we have had worked together... things would have been different... but even then we share respect and brother hood for each others!

    @all thank you.

  35. Pratiks' translatedMarch 23, 2011 9:17 AM

I read it, tried to understand. What I felt after having completed reading this is Wow, Awesome. But I can hardly relate to it. Got few points to ponder upon - truth, victory, love, friendship, companionship, way of life, the steering wheel..and life..Well, I can find aan uncanny relationship between them. Truth, honesty is always important in a relationship..If it is somewhere lagging even in the minimal amount, it may be the best relationship, its never gonna work out, ultimately it breaks. Love is the greatest thing in this world, :) it brings tears of happiness, sorrow of pain, smile of happyness and joy of life..and you don't even realize how they come and go within a few second..if you are in love, :') All the gloomy-ness of the sky is washed away with one slight touch, can cope with everything, can over come hundreds of problems and comeout in the public with the head held high, tolive life to the fullest. This is the win of love and of friendship, companionship. Friendship stays higher in position than love. Friendship makes way for love to exist. Few people get true friendship in their walks of life, and they are real fortunate. And life is all about meeting people, loving them...loosing them. Lets travel our own way of life, lets not wait wasting time. Whereever this road ends, our life shall resume. And donot fear... dont you remember - "Life finds it's own way.." :D

  41. Life is just like a vehicle where you move it goes to that direction and the turn you have to take how much right or wrong direction depends upon you how and where you take turns sa it's a crossroad , So wisely choose the right side. Cheer it , live it enjoy each and every moment at it's fullest ..leave the tear and fear back and move ahead that's what I call LIFE .Hope your life runs smoothly and sweetly.

Beautiful writing skills indeed Anirban ! :)

  42. LIFE as we live it..shows us the boulevard of destiny..the story unfolds with time..
it's rightly said, too many concepts and too many people create confusion in the long run..we,ourselves need to determine the priorities and tread along the path..our experiences make us who we are, and what our perceptions on every cirrcumstance can come out to be..the laughter, the cries, the mourn, the zeal, everything is in a way surficial..our countenance donot always wear the true shade of our heart..the colour within remains with us...even if the tinge doesn't always suit our eyes..we need to emblazon it our way..n look beyond..where hope shows it's lantern..

so.... Anirban you just need to look for that..remember paulo coelho(the alchemist)?

    ReplyDelete
  43. @all thank you

@hrishikesh kar bhai, you can relate to it... i know :D
@pritha a comment coming from you is precious... and yes, you are one of my "awesome" friends ;) thanks for all the support that you have always extended to me, even at times, at your own decline.

  45. A feeling of tiredness will never over come the feeling of true love.

Anyway moving on life is the best remedy but sometimes you might have to look back and see what mistakes we have committed and what friends we have lost. That time comes in everybody's life. Maybe you won't realize this now and dismiss me as a person with stupid illusion but at some point we all introspect and feel miserable but the problem is that time comes in everybody's life a bit too late to do anything about it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I havent been dismissive enough, have been rejected and thrashed for being what I am though. I didnot dismiss, I submitted myself to the hands of God (not Sachin Tendulkar, but the Almighty) and have left everything in the hands of time. If someday it is "late", it had never been mine ;) In true love (wise men once said) there is no time constraint, no wait too long !
