Smiles :))


Smiles are treasures that have its stretches in between edges of our lips. But the impressions it can lay is unfathomable. A mood setter or flowery ambience creator I should say, but the terminology can’t be better defined, it can be felt on our every lively cell. This is what the action smile refers to. Rather than just being an emotion, it is like an intervention which focuses blooming. And the blooming refers fondness; the fondness of something, anything or it could be just nothing. Smile is an emotion that interposes bad times and good times. There is no obligation for smiles. On the contrary, it’s a saving plus income you do without any necessary taxes against them. Benefits are innumerable. Results are colorful.

O friend, What is love?


The entire world is so beautiful in my eyes, so young so smiling. Green and fresh.. fresh blue is my sky, green is the garden. The fading moonlight, the tender bud, all are like my existence. They hum their songs of happiness, they laugh all day.. they meet their death this way. They know no regret, no grief of life.
The flowers falls while it is bright, the moonlight fades smiling its way.. smiling all the way the stars hide themselves behind the light.
Who is as happy as the way I lead my life? O friend come to me. Let me tell you the story of my happy heart, lest you forget your grief. You cry all day, lets give you a moment of happiness. Let us forget all grief for that one moment, let us celebrate and sing together finding the meaning of thoughts, friend what are grievances..? You all talk about love all day.. friends what is love?
Friend, what are thoughts? what are feelings? You all talk about love all day.. O dear friend, what is love? Does love really hurt? Is it the reason of your tears? or the deep breath of grief? Then what happiness lures you to wish for this grief? O friend, what is love?

A SEASON.....


Breeze carrying fragrance of thirsty soil suddenly changed its mind and decided to summon thick ready to flow clouds to spare the scorched dusty leaves n shed their load on the pleading Earth. Clouds creating a blanket, covering the harsh sun turn spectators to the dance of paddy fields enjoying in virgin mirth. Misty rain lashing children in a playful way. Cold blissful winds caressing and swinging tiny plants. And now the zephyr carries with it the unmatchable waif of wet soil.

Scenic view of monsoon is too large to fit in a lens’ glance. And Mumbai and monsoon are kind of incomplete without each other. Monsoon surely brings a lot of trouble for the city with it, yet is always welcomed with the same enthusiasm. True every good thing comes with a price. The rains bring in a relief form the sweltering heat that shows no pity to anything for three deadly months. But as soon as monsoon gains its pace and starts enjoying its welcome all we see is water-logging, traffic, delayed trains etc…. 

But well this post is meant only for celebrating this season that beautifies everything that comes under its canopy. A season often acknowledged for being the most romantic time of the year. A season also meant for solace of solitary souls. A season that gives all the reasons required for a smile and a season that conceals flowing tears in its flowing drops.

The scorpions sung of it,the owlcity hummed and we the spectators drink through our eyes in awe of it.The performer's charm casts a spell on us.We leave the lantern of the repertoire burn through our minds even after it's over.The photograph reminds me of what martha graham confabulated,"There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique, Keep the channel open..No artist is pleased". Well even though we march ahead in time and in glory the thrist of any performer or an enthusiast never is satisfied.There is only a blessed unrest that keeps them more alive than the others.Every posture,every expression that draws our conscience to focus on and sometimes drives into a trance.We might call these artistes personified fireflies who shine till they touch the incinerating flame...as robi thakur sings, mesmerised by a "nrityabhinay" :

Planet Of The Creative Souls

Some days back I was not feeling good,creativity was lost somewhere.So I decided to travel back in time and live some moments again.I took my camera and moved out of my house.I visited every place I remember me and my friends used to visit together.Clicked some photographs,went to the seaside restaurant we used to visit and many more places.Why I am sharing this photograph particularly is because this place is very special for me and my friends.This place is what we call Planet of the Creative Souls.This is the land of art,a place where hundreds of artists used to gather and do fun stuff.This is my animation college.Yes this beautiful place is where we spent 3 years together.We used to sit anywhere we want and start sketching and painting anything we like.The first 1.5 year of our course was for 2d only.That means only sketching and painting,no digital work.So when I visited this holy place again I was recharged,recharged with creative energy.I feel much better when I see pure creativity around me and what could be a better place than "Planet Of The Creative Souls".  :D

She is a mother, a sister, a friend, a lover.. She is the support you will always cherish. She is the softness you will always look for. She is the inspiration that will never let you down. She is a 'woman', a 'lady', a 'girl'.

Beauty is deep inside


Often many are intrigued with the beauty of the surrounding of one than a person one is inside. Even in the things of same inner depth and quality, often the character which draws a higher degree of differences is due to one’s status and one’s external beauties. There’s so much a little difference on the fact that whether one is beautiful wearing a most elegant face in the world or the one is a daughter of a poorest beggar that the real beauty of a beauty is a soul which resides inside the beauty. This small incident of which I really don’t know whether its root can be accountable to be called as true or not, but the message that it claims to give away is something that I really admired.

Two body guards were entrusted with a duty of a beautiful landlady. She was married, though, but the beauty that she wore was blissful and her euphemism ensnared anyone out of their normal self. She was the height of beauty, one of the living epitomes of how a mankind can be so lovely and superficially gorgeous. Let alone be these guards, she could sweep away any man at a glimpse of her beauty.

“God, she is so beautiful.”

“Ya man, she is really beautiful. I had a chance to see her half naked last time when she was taking shower”, the guards shared discreetly at the gates.

The human tendency of competing towards the best attention and a reward from a person whom one is serving didn’t leave their small companionship that these two men fell into the qualm of jealousy and foolishness. The other guard reported to a landlady about the one of them having seen her half naked and wanting to go to bed with her.

The accused was called while an informer was sent out. The former was afraid of losing his job because of his casual and careless talks about the landlady.

“I hear something from your friend?”

“I didn’t mean any indecent remarks madam. Please forgive me?” he pleaded.

“Do you drink?” the voice however sounded fearing than sweeter.

“Yes, madam”, he replied gladly like someone who is enticed to be woefully lustful. What is this? Woman like being praised, he thought naughtily.

She offered him a local brewed wine in a cup that was adorned with golden threads. He hesitated for while but he gladly drank it, and then he was offered the same wine in an ordinary metal cup.

“How does it taste?” she asked him after he finish drinking the wine.

Well, though, the content here could well be little unclean, the message was clear and loud. How many of us in the world are like that soldier forgetting that it’s the inner soul that which matters, not the external expressions and beautiful attires?

The different types of a cup won’t make a same wine taste anything better or less, it remains same.

Inner Beauty

“Beautiful people are not always ugly inside and ugly people are not necessarily beautiful inside.”

When I started this article, I could think of only, a pretty ugly girl and an ugly pretty girl. But then I started discussing this topic with my daughter Shloka, who, by the way, is the most beautiful girl on this planet. She made me think outside of the rigid box, which I always live boxed –in, and viola, this post was created.

When we talk about inner beauty, it’s not that the person’s insides are pretty to look at; their organs are not wearing make-up, and looking beautiful. People are considered beautiful because of their strength of character; kindness, courage, generosity, and compassion are other such traits of a beautiful person.

People are superficial and shallow; they see only the outer packaging and make up their minds about a person. We hear a lot of jokes about dumb blondes, Blondes are considered to be dumb, but all blondes are not so. It’s a perception, Looks are deceptive and it takes more than a pretty face to become beautiful. Attractive people do have an edge over their less attractive peers but it’s temporary. They get a foot in the door but need to show their inner beauty to enter the room and make their presence felt.

Outer beauty is secondary; people are remembered for their deeds, which are a direct result of their character and personality and not their looks. For example, let’s take Jhansi ki Rani, when we talk about her, we praise her courage and bravery. We never talk about her beauty, though I am sure she was very beautiful, but we see her strength of character and remember her for that. Irrespective of her outer appearance, she is revered, even if she were ugly, she would have been remembered as a great human being. Looks don’t matter when you have strength of character.

Lady Diana was beautiful inside out. Beauty is not always a blessing; it is a curse too sometimes. Cleopatra wasn’t very beautiful, some say she was, but just by beauty alone, she couldn’t have achieved what she did, she had a strong base of values and strength to help her attain the impossible.

“A coin issued during her reign depicted her with straight hair, a hooked nose, and a pronounced chin. So, perhaps Cleopatra had inner beauty. “Her beauty was by no means flawless,” wrote the tactful historian Plutarch, adding that she had “irresistible charm” and a voice that was “beguilingly rich.” That and she had a kingdom the Romans had wanted to get their hands on for a long time.
Still, she saved her kingdom for a while by becoming the lover of the two successive generals—Julius Caesar and Mark Antony—who had come to conquer Egypt, but were conquered by the lady’s charms instead.”

What really sticks in people’s mind is your inner beauty and that is only by strength of character and personality. The force of your personality should blow the minds of people and make them see your true beauty, irrespective of the outer packaging.

I need you, O Almighty



You have given me much O Almighty. You have given me everything I could have wished for.. my world, my parents, my blood.. when I look up, I see the sky.. I see your blessing. I see your blessing in the people around me.
But O lord, my emptiness still remains, my eyes still with tear... my thirst not quenched.
I chase you in the beam of white light, O Almighty..
When you have given me so much, you need to give me a bit more..
